I need to walk

I have not been walking much. I have not been to the gym much. I have not been drinking my water. If I cannot keep up while Joshua is in town how in the world am I going to follow through while he is away. What would help would be a set time to walk every week. If I knew I had to meet someone it would force me to stop messing with the dishes and get outside during this beautiful spring weather. Any takers?

Saturday Morning Stroll

Tomorrow we will meet at the southeast corner of the Downtown Farmer's Market in beautiful Lawrence, Kansas. If you are in the area and would like to take a stroll with us, stop by around 8:30. We will walk for a bit and then shop the goods. My family needs some good local produce so that is what we will be looking for. I will have my 32oz of water and some snacks for the children. The sausage biscuit is my recommendation for treats if you are not on a diet. Please join us if you can.

Water water everywhere

I finally made it back to the gym and finished a 5k run. Both acts have been eluding me for the past week. Inspiration came with the wonderful high following a good run. I have decided to do make one small change today. So here is my 32oz bottle of water (with a little juice for taste); I plan to drink it all today. And tomorrow I will attempt to do the same. I have heard it takes 21 days for a habit to form...

Need a little push

Another morning in which I did not get up in time to go to the gym. I have always let my children wake me up as they rarely sleep past 7am. For the last couple of mornings the baby has been entertaining herself in the crib for a few extra minutes and the toddler has been sleeping in. This means I sleep until 7:45 and there goes my gym time. I think this means it is time for an alarm clock again. I also think I need to schedule a few more walks in order to push myself to get out there and exercise. Won't you join me?

Welcome to Stroller Burn. Spring is here and it is time to get outside. We are putting together several walks a week to accommodate most schedules so that anyone can get out there and burn those winter pounds off.
